Leaf — Lounge Chair 2021

The design of the Leaf chair combines form-making of almost architectural quality with a playful inversion of texture.

Like the Callum Bench, there is a hint of Art Deco in the chair’s lines, and the luscious texture of the wool bouclé fabric seems obvious. But, in fact, Gloria’s intention was to give the seat, arms and chair-back the slightly surreal look and feel of pale, honed stone.
